Had my SIL visiting and while we were yacking a huge storm blew up.
I swear I have never seen such horrendous winds and rain.
After it abated some we went out to see if we still had a roof etc and I could not believe the total mess around our home.
We have trees down, branches all over the freakin' lawn. I had to get out and get all the branches off the driveway before my SIL could leave.
The guy over the road offered to come and get happy with his chain saw tomorrow which suits me as we are heading off to the beach tomorrow and it wold be nice to come home and find the crap cleared away.
That was some scary stuff tonight and I was skeered
This is the second tree clean up we have had within a few months. The last time we had lightening hit two trees and bring huge limbs down which took days to clean up.
We are surrounded by gorgeous trees but our huge sycamore trees down the front are really taking a beating lately.
I think one will need to come down as the lightening has literally fried it We bought the property because of the trees but they are getting thinned out lately s0099

| It wasn't a mini tornado was it? As long as it was just tree's damaged and not you or any of your loved ones.

| Another example of Mother Nature, unbelievable how weather can change just like that. Having neighbors that are happy to use a chainsaw is a good thing as long as their not related to the Texas chainsaw mob:-)You have checked that out right?

| Did you have any warning or did it just up and bite you ? The storms that you know nothing about are the ones the are very scary because there is no warning there just there. I wish we had a few storms :-(

Oh no Dahls it whipped up out of no where, scared the poop out of me LOL
Left home to come to the beach with the guy over the road cutting up the limbs and trees for us.
Should be able to go home to all that crap cleared up
Thanks guys we are very thankful we are safe but I would mind NOT going through that again.

| Makes you wonder where they come from, i mean we know but its interesting how they just appear from nowhere. Glad there was not much damage and you are all safe and sound.

| Happy to hear you guys were alright, I still get a buzz for some silly reason when your driving along the road and its wet and then just like that its dry! I know there has to be a cut off point with rain but its still weird seeing it.
