Just wanted to share with you the lovely day I had today.
My neighbour invited me to go out for lunch with her, & also the lady who lives across the road.
It was just one of those 'girls days out' which I haven't had for....well, about 15 years ago since I had to retire & nurse hubby.
And as I'm sure all you 'girls' can understand...we giggled about absolutely everything & nothing, had a few wee drinkies, a little flutter on the pokies & a gorgeous lunch. (cheap, too.)
All in all a perfect day. Hugs to my neighbour for inviting me...it was a real highlight in my life...actually I'm still giggling about some of the stupid stuff we laughed about, and hubby & son are giving me those weird "men-not-understanding" looks.

It is fantastic to get out just with the girls once in awhile isn't it, i use to love doing something like this now and then.

Good onya lovie... glad you had an awesome day. Sometimes stuff like that just appears from nowhere and is a real breath of fresh air to your normal mundane week.

| Good for you Sixties and great to see things are looking up (winning) sometimes is it nice to just get out of the house and do something just for you its like a breath of fresh air.

 Well done! (winning) There is nothing greater than having a girls day out without the men! (sorry guy's but you know what i mean just like the boy's having a night out). If you can you should try to go out more with them.
