don't be surprised...I've found that dogs tend to love the smell of skunk and dead animals. ...if that is true, that may overrule the initial pain or shock of being sprayed lol...
Our dog choco, when younger, if he found a dead raccoon or possum in our woods, would roll all over it for minutes at a time....and then he couldn't understand why we would avoid him when he came up for a pat...oh a dead animal on a dogs fur stinks worse than skunk I'm afraid lol..
