No wonder he was so good with Emily as she was growing up. We may end up going with another one of those when we want another pet down the road...I'd love another Choco....
yep yep yep, the puppy we found a few weeks ago is an american pit bull terrier and he is wonderful with Damon already. Damon doesn't go anywhere outside without Blue two steps behind him and if Damon stops, Blue runs up the back of his legs because like Damon he is always distracted But we can already see that he is going to be a great dog with Damon. One of the guys at work gave D a book all about pits and instead of it being all about how bad they are because they are used for fighting etc, its all about the actual breed and not the dumbass people who bring them up wrong. They are the most kid friendly dog out there if taught manners at a young age.

| happy to report that although he's walking a little slower, and still shaky on his two front legs, Choco is alive and well. He has lost about 15lbs in 4 days though...but we've noticed the tumour is almost double it's size, and that's only been in the past few days. Emily was so relieved to see him better. We don't give him too much longer. Thinking he may only live a few weeks to a month or so, but he doesn't seem to be in any pain. The minute he shows any signs of that or the seizures happen more frequently, we will stop his suffering

| it is a very hard decision to have a loving pet put to sleep even if it is the best thing to do ,I have had a couple of fur babies put to sleep over the years and it wasn't an easy decision at all ,but as long as the suffering is over is the main thing .

Hate to see any pet suffering & have to be put down.
Its hard enough to deal with as an adult, yet alone as a child.

Den I am so sorry Choco is declining.
This is too close to home right now for me but know I love you all and am thinking about you. Choco gave you many years of love.
Sounds like the cancer is causing a lot of the issues, have him put to sleep when the time is right as I know you will not allow him to suffer.

Choco is doing amazingly well. we're thinking that when we thought someone had poisoned him, he may have had a seizure which caused him to be so gravely ill. He hasn't had any more seizures since 2 weeks ago and seemed back to his normal self. Even the tumour over his leg looks like it has shrunk.

On ya Choco, I am relieved to know he is doing better but sad because some a*se hole out there gets off poisoning animals. NOW THAT pisses me off
