Emily had her birthday party yesterday. I was worried that most kids wouldn't turn up, because Dennis' family never rsvp, even when I said I needed numbers for something in particular I had planned....so I just skipped that idea I was going to do...
We bought a huge sheet of plastic again, tons of baby shampoo, and thank goodness, more kids turned up that I had invited lol....even some of us adults got in on the huge slip and slide..including me surprise surprise...I'm paying for it now...I am so stiff and sore lol...
It was followed by a huge weenie roast, and singing happy birthday to her. Today is her actual birthday..and she wants to go fishing..not sure if the weather will permit it, but her first words upon waking up this morning were.."am I really 8 now?" lol....

Glad to read Emily had a wonderful birthday party...any pics of you on the slip 'n slide you want to share Den???? LOL I'll never understand why people do not have the manners to RSVP, but that's just me

Hahahahahaha do you notice at times adults can have just as much if not more fun than the kids but we end up paying big time .

it's more what didn't she buy lol....she got lots of money for her birthday this year. She bought paints, a new soccer ball, 2 hoola hoops, a stuffed bunny rabbit, a nintendo ds game, dolls and that's just the half of it. her uncle is taking her out sometime this week to take her shopping for whatever she wants lol...
Wish my uncle did that when I was a kid lol...
And Dennis got a PS3 for his early father's day present today lol..
