| One our neighbors who live a few streets away, had a horrible thing happen to him on Saturday. A pack of dogs that nobody knows, came into his yard and killed all his cats. One of the cats had kittens there were 3 days old, the young guy who owns them was so upset because the Sheriff wouldn't do anything about the dog attack. He was also upset that the kittens didn't have a chance without their Mother, so good ole ME told him to bring them to me and I would see if I could get them to feed. Sure enough I got them to feed LOL! We lost one yesterday because it was the runt and stopped eating on Sunday and was so weak and struggling to breathe, so I had David put it down so it wouldn't suffer. Another one we think has something wrong with it, brain damage but it's eating well and it's eyes opened today, so I am giving him a chance. The other 3 are pigs and eat every 4hrs. The neighbor wants them back after they are old enough to eat and lap, thankfully! Attachment: bandit.jpg

Thanks Kell...I couldn't just say awww poor things and walk away, every little living creature (except fleas hahaha) deserve a chance at life and these little guys had no chance without someone stepping in to help.

Awwww Jo i hope the others make it, its hard to have to put one down but better than let it suffer i agree.

| They have a good chance dahls...as long as you can get them to feed in the first 24hrs they do pretty well. The worst part is making them go potty...I started with a wet cloth and that was gross so now I stick their butts under the running water in the sink and it works and the mess goes down the drain ha_ha

Oh yuk....lol, but you have to do what you have to do and at least your trying a lot of people wouldnt care less and just let them die or drown them.

 just shoot me now somebody!!!!!!!!! I just went outside and found D's dog "playing" with a kitten, not one of my foster children ANOTHER kitten which obviously belongs to one of the female cats that live around here and feed off our cats food. Now I have it wrapped up in a towel on my lap cuz it's in shock from "playing" with Zebby

I don't think it will make it. It isn't eating and it won't lap so its been without food for 24hrs now. D also thinks it has internal injuries from the dog, I am just keeping a close eye on him today and see how he does and then decisions will be made tomorrow.
The other 4 are little pigs today, they were only fed 3hrs ago and they are bitching at me already. Their little eyes are opening today awwwwwwww

One of our cats gave birth to her litter yesterday, she has had 4 litters before she is a Minx, she had 7 kittens last time but only had 4 this time, so I took 3 of my foster babies out to her and she took them on  They are now happily being nursed by her and she is doing a great job with them all. I just have 1 of the little ones left inside, he is the one that we think has brain damage. He is doing well with eating but he didn't stand a chance trying to fight for milk with the other kittens, so he will stay with me.
The kitten I found D's dog with is still hanging in there, he isn't sucking off the bottle but he lets me put it in his mouth so he can get some milk, he was joined by yet another one of his litter members yesterday, I found him in the middle of the yard before the dogs spotted him. I think the wild cat had her litter under our trailer and has left them and they are coming out trying to find her or food. Anyway I still have 3 babies inside, 2 that are around 4 weeks old and then the 1 week old.
