For the past few years Derby Cathedral has been the Home to 2 mating Peregrine Falcons...The Peregrines have already started there mating rituals and have readily scraped there nest for the pending laying.
The Birds can be spotted most mornings between 7.30am and 9.30am...as the days and weeks progress you will be able to see more and More of the Birds as they settle down to mate and eventually lay there eggs.
There are 2 Web Cams on the Cathedral that are operating 24 hours a day.
Last year the Peregrines layed 3 eggs and reared 2 of the chicks...(one of the eggs wasn't viable)

Oh wow thats so beautiful ! I think i remember seeing it when they were there before or am i getting these ones mixed up with another pair maybe.

| I think it is dahls but I could be wrong. I was watching last night and was rather surprised that the bird was sleeping laying down, didn't know birds did that lol
