that looks almost like our place, except the rain stopped yesterday, and some of it has soaken in a bit more....we're due for a bit more rain, but not much...

The grass has grown 2 inches in 4 days lol....

the rain you're getting now, we had 2 days of it, that system passed, and then another one the same size passed over us for 1 1/2 days lol

You should let the dogs out and about in it...let them roll around in the mud...they'd love it...if they don't know how because they're not used to it...just roll around in it yourself to show them hahaha...

I've never been one for liking to get all muddy and dirty...and this must have been handed down to Emily's mindset.  I told her a few weeks back that when we go out on the four wheelers soon, I'd love for her to just have fun and play in the mud holes along the tracks, but she wants no part of it.

"I don't like to play in the mud" is her response, yet I've always encouraged her to go get muddy and dirty if she wants to....I love to see her have fun...

I plan on placing another huge sheet of plastic outside for her birthday this year again, covering it in baby wash/soap/shampoo etc, and water, with lots of balloons for the kids to bust......and my secret reason for doing this again?  not because the kids love it, but because it is just so funny to watch them try and bust a balloon, jumping on it, only for it to slide out from under them ....had me in stitches last time I did this for the kids lol...at least she can't complain she's getting dirty lol...

We had the same rain that Dahls had too --- our driveway has been washed away yet again and my poor car is all muddy -- Blah ! I hate living on a dirt road.

Oh well sunshine is due tomorrow and we are supposed to get 10 days of it c0096

Well someone at John's work told him that it is now 'mud season' up here.  No rain but we have mud everywhere from melting snow and ice.  The small lawn area behind our house is a swimming pool.  c0099  I know it is going to help spring growth and planting.  It's a cycle.
