on Saturday. I didn't know what I was going to get her, and being in hospital really shortened my time frame for getting something..but tonight it dawned on me...
She and Alf will get to spend a night at the
Stamford Grand Hotel, Glenelg
a chef will cook them dinner in their room, including flambe prawns and other dishes that will be quite theatrical,
a 30 minute massage each
a white robe for each of them with their names embroided on the coats to take home
a free bottle of red or white wine from Penfolds
2 blockbuster movies and a free bucket of popcorn
free parking
late checkout
Due to the tour down under (that I saw a bit of on tv today), the prices have hiked up somewhat, so my brother is going in with it for me, but they will give her a certificate to use in the next 6 months....
I think that she'll like that ....

What a great idea and what a great daughter you are for doing this. Gives me something to think about as well now as it does get hard to come up with ideas at times and if you get other family members to join in makes it even better.
