Because it is a break from the hum drum of reality. Real life fairytales make people forget for a few moments. That is why junk like American Idol or Jersey Shore or Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen have so much exposure. Bread and circuses. Keeps the masses content.
BTW Since when did this myth of English people having bad teeth originate. As a former Brit myself, I take offence.  Take a look at a few people from the Middle East or former Soviet countries. Now THEY are in need of serious dentistry :)

Well im shocked for some reason i thought they already got married . Her dress was nice sorry i don't have anything else to say because im not into the royal family at all nothing personal. Well i do have something else to say i hope they have a long and happy marriage.

I wonder what all the fuss is about the wedding dress? It looked to me just like... a wedding dress. Did I miss something?
I didn't watch a second of it, but I'm glad the whole thing went off without Al Qaeda or some sick suicide bomber trying to make a statement.

The dress was real special because it was a royal ta-do (big deal)see it was reproduced within 5 hours.
