| My eyes are hanging out of my head at the moment for the life of me i couldnt get comfy in bed last night then at about 12-12.15 in the am in the street behind us had the police/ambulance and firetrucks all with lights flashing away :-( an hour later settle for the nightly sleep just to be woken by a couple who thought it would be a good idea to have world war 3 out the front of our house mind you this was at 4.00 in the morning ! and Don had already gone to work so do you think i could settle back down.... NO way known ! Bed nice and early for me tonight and i might get a sign made up saying fighting outside my home prohibited !

| Pizza for dinner and bed for you! nothing worse than these types of nights because you never do settle because your waiting for the what next. Those silly people should be in bed themselves instead of out fighting like that.

| Hope you had a good sleep i hate the way people have no respect for others and i bet if you rang the police you would be the worse in the world.

| I would have rang the cops and not said who i was people need to learn to zip their mouths in public and show a little respect at that hour of the night.

If it happens again i will ring the police its so hard because Don has told me many stories from when he was a police officer in the Army and how he would turn up to a domestic and get insulted from the woman because they were taking the man away . Poor Donny i shouldnt laugh its not really funny.

I know where you are coming from hun. I have neighbours that do drugs or sleep whenever it takes their fancy and then they are up in the night ...bumping into things, which in a old duplex makes for a lot of noise. I got myself an air purifier for another reason and it helps with the "white noise" which blocks some of their shannanigans but not all.
We also have a Moose lodge just down the road that opens their doors and has music pouring out late at night(any night of the week)..we just call the cops every time now.

Can totally relate to this Dahls.
I am very sleep-deprived at the moment, for a variety of reasons, not just from outside the home
But sleep deprivation makes you feel like utter cr*p! It is so hard to function - I feel as if I'm waking up with a terrible hangover or something - can't concentrate. Its like my body is awake, but it takes another couple of hours for my brain to catch up!
(plus on top of that, last night was our daylight savings changeover, & that always takes me a while to adjust to)

I hope things settle for you hon things are ok here now no trouble at all and in all fairness this is a rather quiet place so i shouldnt complain i just hate being here on my own at the best of time let alone when you get woken up.

Sorry John, didn't mean to alarm anybody.
Its just that I've had sleeping problems on & off ever since that break-in last year, but it has all escalated in the last 3 or 4 weeks since I joined a committee that has dumped a huge (& unfair) workload on me. I've been really stressing out about it, that's all.
And once I get into an altered sleep pattern it just seems to set in.
