Sorry John, didn't mean to alarm anybody.
Its just that I've had sleeping problems on & off ever since that break-in last year, but it has all escalated in the last 3 or 4 weeks since I joined a committee that has dumped a huge (& unfair) workload on me. I've been really stressing out about it, that's all.
And once I get into an altered sleep pattern it just seems to set in.
Nothing worse i know how your feeling but you need sleep have you tried some meds ?

@ CrazyLizzie -
Yes, I did go to the doctor about it, who refused to give me anything like Valium as they are addictive, but he did give me a script for a sleeping tablet called Normison.
I took that for a couple of nights, & still didn't get any sleep, & what's more during the next day it made me feel even worse.
I really don't know what the answer is, apart from getting rid of the stresses in my life at the moment.
And with this committee I'm on...well I'm about to tell them to take a running jump.
Its a Country Rugby League Team - plus my son has been made treasurer - so we are both involved.
But so far we have been treated like absolute slaves.
My intention on signing up was to do a lot of publicity, website design, weekly programme design etc. But it hasn't panned out that way at all!
Whenever there is a problem, my son & I have been called upon to put in the manual laboutr to fix it.
So far I have spent the last 6 weeks repainting thier canteen (which included degreasing everything with our own hi-pressure washer, sanding back the paintwork & repainting the entire thing)
Washing out the teams'changerooms, cleaning the toilets, pressure-cleaning the grand-stand , cleaning the referees rooms, plus all the while trying to design a publication for the printers for their weekly programme plus design & host a website for the team.
It is just unbelievable!! And then at the last minute the President's high & mighty wife has stepped in & tried to tell me how I should have designed the website!!
I am so totally crapped off with the whole deal - my son & I have been treated like slaves.
And then today was the last straw - I was looking forward to a day off -the first in about a month - the President (who never gets his hands dirty) had arranged for someone to clean up the grounds after the weekend's game. But whoever he had arranged to do it, didn't do it! So the next thing is, we get a frantic phone call from him ordering us to go down & do it!!
So there I was, yet again down at the grounds that I have come to hate- picking up rubbish with by own bare hands...including dirty nappies & all the other filth you can imagine. Plus it was in the rain as well.
This is a Country Rugby League team that banks around $8000 every home game!! Its just not acceptable, & I have told them that in no unertain terms!
It seems as if it has taken over my whole life, & I'm not going to let them get away with that.
