| Quick question and its not of any importance but i was talking with a friend yesterday and we got talking about trusting other people. I said i have a few friends that i trust 100% and she basically told me i was crazy! That she never trusts anybody 100% do you guys feel the same way or do have friends that you can trust 100%. Im just curious about what others think.

| I dont want this sounding snotty but i dont trust anybody 100%. The level of trust i give somebody is based on the persons own personality if they repeat everything and gossip about anything and everything then the trust level is very low because you know full well they will be doing the same thing to you. This doesnt mean i have no time for them, just that i dont trust them 100% with more personal things.

There's only 1 person I trust 100%, & that's my hubby.
(I suppose I could add that I can always trust him to stuff things up. )

| Depends on what you are talking about when you say trust! I trust my husband with other women my deepest secrets but friends thats another story. Over the years i have been burnt with friends i thought were trustworthy so i guess i don't trust friends fully, i never go out of my way to prove they are not trustworthy but i keep a little distance between us for safe keeping and only let friends know what they need to know.

| I have a couple of friends i trust but i understand the not 100% part, if you think about it, it all comes back to not really knowing someone 100% who knows what they might end up doing at some stage. Take the the neighbors of a serial rapist or something i bet they trusted them at some point (until they found out what they were doing).

| I had to have a think about this and i would say i trust them based on what i want them to know, so now in saying this i guess i don't fully anybody because i have skeletons in my closet that my best friends know nothing about so if i trusted them they would know. Bit of a shock answer for me see what happens when you think.

I like the idea that i have friends that i can trust but don't think we can honestly trust anybody 100% or at least i don't think so. Look how many marriages last years and then out of blue you find out they have been cheating on you yet ask that person and they will say i trust my partner As someone said about criminals how many people have been stunned to find out what they really are like, you hear it all the time...i would have trusted that person with my child.
