...today was crunch time...you know...the day that eventually comes where you just HAVE to clean your oven!
Oh lord I hate it.
So I've spent the best part of the day cleaning it, and now I'm in a bad, bad mood!
The menfolk have just sat watching the footy on tele all day, while I've slaved & cursed.
So now I'm at the point where I'm slamming cupboard doors & drawers...but no, all I get from them is "What's up ref...are you blind or something?"
But I SWEAR...if anyone goes near that oven again without using an oven bag or at least some aluminium foil...they're dead meat!!
Don't mess with a woman who has just cleaned her oven!!

 Sixties i understand what yr saying, it seems every home i move into the stove has never im sure been cleaned....lol. So before i even start on my own mess i have to clean others mess as well. Do you put aluminum foil on the bottom of your stove at least that will help one part :-) I like your way of thinking Tanya.

hahaha oh yes im sure all women have experience that nightmare! One of my pet hate jobs along with a few others. Like cleaning the bath i hate doing that i would rather clean the loo than the bath silly i know.

I'm going to get one of those teflon coated oven liners...they're made of the same silicon sort of stuff that muffin pans etc are made of these days.
Worth a try.

I have cleaned an oven out before i will have you know! what a shitty job that is i would rather mow the lawns any day of the week.

How did you clean it? did you throw a wet rag in there and rub it around and say that's done whats next why do you women carry on about housework so much? Oh you did say what a shitty job so did you ring the rag out and do it once more

Ya poor chook.
I am blessed with a self cleaning oven which works great all I have to do when it is finished is wipe it out. No scrubbing needed.
