So my vroom vroom needs a new motor, hubby went to head off to work this morning only to get 40 miles into the trip to have the alternator (spelling) go on the Tahoe :-( so he makes it home and tries the RV...RV will not start , no idea whats up with that. So he rings his boss and thank goodness the boss said try to make it to Macon and just work from there instead so that hubby at least will get paid for the day. So hubby has been to work made it home (early day) and gone to find the part. I guess it could have been worse it could have all happened when hubby wasnt working so a blessing really and thank god we are both the type that will not spend money because we have it ( when we have it )...lol.
And as i have been typing this out i just got a call my vroom vroom is ready so things are looking up.

They say things do come in three, sorry your going through a tough time but at least one is going now that's the main thing and your hubby can get to work without any trouble, but that still leaves you without a car:-(

Crap what a horrible thing to happen, great that the car is ready (vroom vroom is a car right?) So one down two to go good luck and i hope there is nothing much wrong with the other two. I also believe in having money set aside for rainy days like this!

see, this is what happens when you hand the reigns over to kanga and think you can get on with your life, it all turns to custard....that'll teach ya!!!! JK. Good luck with the vehicles, much like a computer....we seem all useless without one.

Yep its all Kanga's fault. The good news is at least we are back with two cars running, thank god hubby had an early day and thank god we could get the part so he put it in and im off and running. My Camero is running like a baby now it didnt end up getting a new motor after the guy found out what was wrong with mine he just re built the one in it as he said the one in it was in better condition than the one he found for me (of course im talking reconditioned motor) seems what was wrong with it he has never known it to happen (trust me to have it happen) but anyway it ended up costing less like $13.00 less so thats a plus that was $13.00 towards the other car.

I agree with you we should all have or try to have money put aside for a rainy day like you have needed, i know not everybody can do this but it goes to show you never know when you will need that extra cash. Im so glad you got both fixed!

Yep everything comes in three, just glad you are back up and running again. Im one of those that if i have money i like to spend it but over time and being caught myself i know you need at least a bit in the bank to see you through times just like this.

It had a hole in the intake manifold, very rare to happen but it happened, rare more so because it was made from aluminum alloy. What i should say is if it had a crack that's another thing but a hole! And it did i seen it!
