This salad, I tried to recreate the flavour of the mayo back in Oz...you know, sweet and tangy? as it just wouldn't be the same salad I've been craving lately.  Dennis found out that he loves this salad, and I just can't get enough of it yet.  Again, my measurements are all by my own judgement, so what I put down, you may need adjust to your own likening...start minimal and add more if necessary..

1 box pasta elbows or shells

2 cans or pouches of tuna

2 cups mayo

green onions chopped

vinegar

sugar

salt & pepper

*******************************

Boile the pasta until cooked.  Rinse under cold water and refrigerate, as you want this to be a cold salad.  Chill the tuna in it's cans/pouches also.

Place the mayonnaise in a bowl or measuring cup.

In a separate bowl/measuring cup, place a couple of teaspoons of white sugar.  Pour some vinegar over the sugar (about twice the amount of vinegar than sugar), and mix until the sugar has dissolved or almost dissolved.  Pour this mixture into the mayo and stir until well combined.

Put all ingredients together, pasta, tuna, mayo mixture, chopped green onions, salt & pepper, and mix together.  Refrigerate until ready to use.  The mayonnaise dressing doesn't stay sweet once the tuna has been added, but the flavour is delicious....

If you can find it...Kraft coleslaw dressing has the tangy/sweet taste to it. I always used that over plain mayo, even in Oz.
