Just went to my local Woolworths, and being a Sunday, they had lots of stuff marked down.
I managed to buy 4 fillet steaks for $4.00.
Can you believe that:?
So while I am typing this, I am dining on fille mignon (wrapped in bacon), sauteed potatoes & carrots, with fresh beans & spinach out of the garden.
Also a cob of corn, with lots & lots of butter & pepper!
Plus a mushroom & garlic sauce....now, do you all hate me???

 wow that is cheap ! The other day i picked up some chunk steak by mistake, im not a big steak fan myself but hubby is and when i took it out and noticed it was chunk steak i thought what am i going to do with this. Anyway i rubs some BBQ sauce over it and left it for about an hour and fried it up and it was darn good ! so i thought well hubby liked it and its a cheap cut so i might get it again :-)

No...it was just one of those lonely little packets sitting there all by itself, just marked down for a quick sale.
They were'nt huge, but when you have a steak of that quality, you really don't need much. It just melted in our mouths. Yummy.
