| Having a child in a preschool myself, I am appauled at this. My sons preschools policy is "no hat, no play" and they certainly don't spend "all day" outside at 29 degrees, sun screen or not. That is just totally ridiculous. Just because the other kids weren't burnt does not mean they are excused and it isn't their fault, it just means that poor Ozzy was neglected and not reapplied the sunscreen and care that he needed. I hope she wins her court case and the place is shut down. Wonder how they keep going....just another bad child care centre story to go along with the woman who bit a 7 mth old on the cheek at a centre!!!!! I heard this on the news this morning... I think the Government should take a hard look at how these child care centers are run, these things can't just be random, it comes down to training.
I would be suing as well.

Of course no child should be out in 29 degrees heat all day any person with any lick of sense knows that, with or without sunscreen. And Mr Pearson who else should take liability, the Mother for trusting the daycare

The poor little boy had to have been in the sun for some time to do that damage, i would never leave a child for a long time in the sun without a hat and long sleves. I wouldnt leave them in the sun period for a long time.

This is a terrible and upsetting story not only for the child but for other parents who have children in daycare.
