Drama is set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island

Leonardo DiCaprio

Mark Ruffalo

Ben Kingsley

Michelle Williams

This is one of those movies that if you can get past all the confusing flashbacks that the main character is having in the very beginning, that you will understand it all at the end.  It has a big twist to it, which is always interesting in movies if done the right way, this one was done the right way and we enjoyed it.  But you really need to sit and watch every scene at the start, or you get lost really quickly.

Give this one a big w_t_g

Nope not scary at all, that was one of the reasons I wanted to see it because it looked scary, so that was kinda disappointing that it wasn't.  But the previews are misleading, it's a very in depth story.

I liked it too. Not scary, I was disapointed.  A great twist at the end which made it worth seeing.
