Just finished watching Hairspray with John Travolta...it was great if you enjoy musicals. Emily told me she is totally in love with Link from the movie, who's name is Zac Efron, from High School Musical...and hopes that he'll like her when she's a teenager....
She danced all through the movie...it amazes me at what she likes. She knows most of the words of songs from both Grease movies, High School Musical 1 & 2, and is bound to be able to sing me all the songs from hairspray in the next 6 months lol...
Oh, she also loves watching Dirty Dancing...and she knows a lot of those songs, cause we would listen to the CD in the car over and over lol..

| Took Emily out to lunch, and to see Fred Clause today. A good movie, not to be compared to the Santa Claus movies at all...this one was quite sad in parts. I enjoyed it..Emily got a little bored in a few spots, but she still liked it.

how about a sticky post that we can add replies to, but it will stay close to the top?...If any of us go see a movie, that is well worth letting others know about, or warn to keep for when it comes to tv...
We took Emily to see Bee Movie on Saturday. It was quite funny. I was rather surprised, because it actually had a moral to it, which is good for teaching to kids.
There are many good children's movies coming out within the next few months. An Alvin and the Chipmunk movie..(not cartoon, but is animated with humans also), Fred Clause which looks like it would be great. Also, there is one with Nicole Kidman in it, and has to do with a young girl who finds an object of some sort that she needs to keep out of the hands of the evil NK character. I truly am sorry about the lack of memory of this movie, but my mind has gone a blank at the moment. Lets suffice it to say, there are many good movies coming out and I'll be taking Emily to see a few of them so can give you reviews then lol...

| watched V for Vendetta. Started watching it on Sunday night, but I couldn't get into it, then I gave it another try last night, and it seemed to get much better. I must have had too many things on my mind to enjoy it the night before...but it is well worth perservering if you at first find it dull or annoying...

Went to see National Treasure: The Book of Secrets on Friday.
It was FANTASTIC!! I found myself clutching my coat and my hands were all sweating due to the suspense!
I'm not a Nicholas Cage fan at all, in all honesty, I can't stand the guy, but he does a great job in the new movie.

Ed Gein The Butcher of Plainfield........ is 100% NOT a family movie and is plain off.
However the fact that the movie is based on a true story makes for one hell of a good movie.
This dude is one sick mother and worth watching if for anything to see that these people are not just in made up horror movies they do live in the real world.
