Langmeil Winery Barossa Valley , Australia
Family owned and operated, Langmeil is one of the most highly regarded boutique wineries in Australia . It is the home of the Barossa and Australia 's oldest surviving vineyard planted to Shiraz in 1843, from where the iconic Freedom 1843 Shiraz hails. This is believed to be the oldest Shiraz on the planet.
Without contradiction, Langmeil wines are 'cutting edge old school' and Seventh Street Wine Company is very pleased to host owner James Lindner as he introduces us to these incredible wines. Langmeil’s philosophy is to produce only 100% Barossa premium quality wine made from varieties which excel in the Barossa. They also make the excellent value Earthworks wines, produced from small Barossa family growers who have nurtured the vines through generations dating back to the mid 1800’s. You will have the opportunity to taste the extremely limited Langmeil “1843 The Freedom” Shiraz , produced from the oldest Shiraz vineyard on planet Earth!
Come along and meet James this Friday evening 6-8pm Seventh Street Wine Company 701 S. Federal Highway,
