Wow...what a movie.
Without spoiling it at all, its about a child who gets abducted, in the 1920's.
I just couldn't believe this was actually a true story...that these events & corruption in the Police Dept actually went on.
I thought Angeline Jolie was brilliant, but its the story that makes the film.
Very moving, and disturbing to think that women were treated the way they were & that the police department got away with the things they did.
I'd recommend the film to anyone.

And after you see the movie (and only after), you can go to this site, where people have researched the history behind it, & even read actual letters the mother wrote etc...very interesting.:

Can't believe I've had this movie for so long and just got to watching it Saturday night. I don't really like Angelina but I got so caught up in the role that I forgot it was her for most of the movie. This movie was really good and I loved it.
Yep, even stayed awake with wide eyes
