Well I sure got a shock today!
I went online to change my address on the immigration site and could not do so before paying $19.95 with a credit card and then this allowed me to type-fill a short form that I then had to print out, sign and mail to the Dept of Homeland Security. What a crock of shit that is. What other Department requires payment for a change of address????? I am glad I have Mr Obama's address because I am going to be writing him a letter!
Another thing that peeved was that they stated that if I moved more than 10 days ago, I would require a lawyers letter stating why I did not let them know within 10 days. LMFAO!!!!! What other department requires less than 30 days notice of change of address? none, zilch, zip!
I feel like a freakin paedophile.

Rooee you did this via uscis.gov right ? because i did mine not so long ago and i didnt have to pay a thing, i did it online and then rang them.
I also just had a look and went through the steps as if i was going to change it and it didnt ask for any payment.
I dont think they like you...lol (sorry couldnt help myself).

I was wondering if you did it via .org isnt that the one that does charge you as they are Lawyers, i dont know if they charge for change of address.
I could be wrong about what i just said but i do know there is one that charges for almost everything they do.
If i was you Rooee i would go back and take another look and see if it asks again for payment, if it doesnt get a stop on your card if you can.

oh yea dahls I got HAD bigtime. closer look and it's a site called immigrationdirect and the homepage looks a lot like the real site. anyway I have paid and that is that, it has taught me to be more alert. yesterday I spent most of the day getting all the forms and info to change our licenses and registrations over. now that was a huge thing and quite expensive compared to VA. I guess by the time I did the immigration thing I was  . LOL
no biggy really but you might want to delete this whole post now because it is false info.

Well its up to you...i can take it down or i can leave so that others might read it and learn from this.
Its simple to make the mistake so might be good to leave it if it doesn't bother you :-)
