I remember listening to this song back in the 60's. It caught my ear because of the 3/4 time signature and was instantly hummable!

Good Aussie stuff ! (I also think The Twilights did a fantastic version of "Needle in Haystack" too)

Now...I was a real Normie Rowe fan back in those days...but THAT undoubtedly was one of the best songs he ever recorded.

Quality stuff, & I still enjoy listening to it to this day. t12345

normie lived close to me in northcote in melbourne and we were fairly good mates ,but when he started getting a name for himself as a singer he dumped his mates as we were not good enough for him ,he was a great singer I will admit but turned out to be up himself , loved the time on t.v where ron casey belted him one h0099h0099

Oh I had forgotten all about that punch up with Won Casey "live" in the studio. That was big news at the time.
