| Don't forget about the onion/cheese and whatever meat on the toothpick they are always good and very simple to do. Something i haven't seen made over here that much. Summer sausage might work ok and you can get the ham already diced up as well as the cheese.

I have some onions in my cupboard right now....had to go to the Aussie Produts store to get them a few weeks back to stop a craving...
Also had a russian deli here that had kabana and hungarian salami but they closed their deli
I did find a guy at our farmer's market that had hungarian salami so I have been slack in visiting a couple of other places that would have a wider selection and possibly kabana....I never thought to ask him if he has kabana...hmm...I will next Thursday.

These are yummy & easy to make.
You've probably had them before...they are bread cases, you roll out slices of bread really thin & squish into a patty cake tin & bake them. Then fill with any mornay-type filling, like salmon/tuna in white sauce, ham & corn in white sauce, asparagus, chicken & mushroom...anything that takes your fancy.

Cheese & vegemite scrolls

I also often make little mini pizzas...simple as.
Jut use those frozen puff pastry sheets, cut into little rounds with a cookie cutter, or even an upturned glass, spread with a bit of pizza sauce....top with whatever, chopped ham, capsicum, mushrooms, pineapple...anything you can dice up.
Top with cheese & bake for about 15 minutes. Always a big hit.
This was also a real hit over here for quite a while...its a hollowed out cob loaf of bread, filled with a dip, and you use torn up pieces of the bread you scooped out to dip with:

I used to do a similar thing with little puff pastry vol a vonts you could buy off the shelf.
I would dice up some cooked chicken, make a white sauce , add a sachet from chicken 2 min noodles (which is basically like chicken stock powder) and combine with chicken. Also one with the tiny shrimp fresh or from a can, make white sauce and use an oriental stock powder or 2 min noodle sachet.
Then I would toss them in the oven just to warm and brown the tops a little.
P.S. Taste the sauce as you add the flavour sachet. You dont want a big salty mess.
