As you can see it states you must have at least 20 posts and be an active posting member to gain access! A screen shot has been provided. The lifeboat was always designed for that extra bit of privacy for those who needed to talk about something without the "world" viewing the forum, it was not designed for non active member (even with 20 posts) to read/copy and paste or repeat any information posted in that forum. If your not a participant on the site then this forum is no long available. I personally think this is fair i know i don't want anything i might have to say read by others who have no intention of advising or offering any form of help reading my personal thoughts/feeling this becomes gossip! This will be a manual task so please don't run away with the idea that if you add a post it will give you automatic rights as its not the case! The only people this is going to effect are those who don't post so i honestly can not see it being a problem for most of you. Please remember when reading this the key word is, so that the world can not read certain things! Non active posting members become part of that world.

| I personally think its a great idea, its only going effect those who don't post so i don't see this as a big deal.

| Its only going to effect as Crazylizzy said those who don't post for whatever reason. I don't see a problem, i don't see it as clicky in anyway at all and this would have been my only concern nobody is stopping anybody from posting so its hardly clicky. Well done on a great idea for that extra bit of privacy!

| No it doesnt make it clicky as everybody is free to join in ! Just a little extra information on this matter please dont go thinking you must post everyday that is not the case we have members that pop on once a week thats fine as you contribute in a respectful manner.

lol isnt it funny how with some of these silly little icons you cant wait to use them. Im the same i love them then think ohhh no situation comes up to use it.

I'm sure dahls & aussie will sort this sort of thing out.
This site is their pride & joy, & built out of love & compassion for all aussie expats living over there, they only want to help not to hinder, so I'm sure everything will be taken into account & things will settle in.

No one is being punished. We are simply trying to keep the the private rooms private for currently active members. We understand that peoples's circumstances in life change, and that sometimes the free time they once had disappears or becomes extremely limited. Those members who are unable to post and who have been dropped from access to these rooms is not a permanent thing. Should they once again have a change in their available free time, and be able to participate in the site again on a regular basis, their access to those rooms will be regained. There is nothing personal in this action. We are trying to keep a certain amount of comfort level for the active members, so they can become familiar and comfortable with the other active members. I apologize to you VSG, but I was performing some maintenance to the main template for the site, and you were able to post. As I uploaded the modified main template, the newest changes took effect.
As administrator of the site, I cannot allow exceptions for some, and not for others, but we have allowed for folks to regain access to these rooms.
