actually it is not called wentworth falls but is known as" empress falls" have been ther years ago but did not reconise the photo.bangheadbanghead

Empress Falls, in the Valley of the Waters, below the village of Wentworth Falls. The Valley of the Waters may be reached by a direct walking track, which descends steeply through temperate rainforest. Cool, moist, shady conditions prevail, and the area is a rich wildlife habitat.

Apart from the regular bushwalkers, you are likely to meet wetsuit-clad abseilers who like to take a more direct, and wet,  route down the numerous waterfalls.

From the valley, National Pass takes the walker to the Wentworth Falls, then back up the cliffs to the village.

The Nature Track, & other cliff-top routes,  make a good alternative for walkers who prefer to avoid the strenuous climb in and out of the valley.

Having said that, dear rompy, let the floodgates open.....

believing you have travelled lots, how do you know, if you have forgotten much of it, that you didn't dream of those places after having watched the travel channel?????  And if you don't watch the travel channel, perhaps these ideas were planted by the History channel???   And, if you don't watch that, how do you know you haven't been reincarnated, and all those places were visited by a person you were in the past, and not the person you are at the present?????

Please romps...inquiring minds want to know.....scratchchinscratchchinscratchchinscratchchinscratchchinscratchchinscratchchin

well I left home when I was 16 years ,my mate and I hitched our way around ,we worked at various jobs along the way ,such as fruit picking ,factory work and stuff like that,we would work in a place for a few weeks just to get money to keep us going, what I meant by not remembering was not the towns we went to but the sights there.I really enjoyed the life-style and learnt quite a lot ,eventually I settled in sydney ,I lived in a rooming house in kings cross for a couple of years, even worked as a bus conductor for a while ,eventually I met my wife to be and settled down (30 years married on june 10th next year)

I don't think I would like to hitch around now with all the idiots out there, don't think it would be too safe these days kgr
