No to all..........
This place still stands today (with a lot of work done to it) its not so much what it was used for, over a period of time the place was used for many things.
But there is something that this place is well known for, here is a picture of what it looks like today.

No....this place was once used as a Court House amoung other things this is not why it is ' famous ' or well known.
It is in California somewhere, but where scratchchin.
