it's not a red eye, it's actually a photo of the back of an eye. The red is just the reflection of it's surroundings. If it were to be pulled out, it would be white lol..
when I was searching for this, it actually showed a surgeon holding up an eyeball that had been removed...ewwwwwww lol...thought that might be too gross to put up for a what am I hysterical

| mind you, it's a nice looking eye. the person who owns this eye has great eyesight lol...mine isn't so good. has lesions & scars on it lol...just a bit of useless information for you lol..oh and mine isn't so dark red/orange..mine is closer to an orange yellow, which means my eyes are super sensitive to the sunlight, and I now can't go outside without wearing sunglasses...it just hurts my eyes to not wear them anymore...
